Selection of security door magnets

Door magnet is a kind of intrusion detector used in anti-theft alarm system to detect whether the door, window, machine drawer and so on are opened illegally, also called door magnet switch. It consists of two parts: the part with a line or with a terminal is the switch part, it is the main body of the door magnet, the quality of the door magnet by the quality of the internal reed switch; the other part of the shell is completely wrapped in the part called the magnet, containing a permanent magnet, which is used to generate a constant magnetic field. When the permanent magnet and the reed switch are close to each other, the door magnetic switch signal is in a closed state, and when the permanent magnet leaves the reed switch after a certain distance, the door magnetic switch signal is in a disconnected state. Door magnetic switch as a burglar alarm system in the smallest one of the products, but is a most can not be ignored. If you just buy in the security market, the price will be cut very cheap, but the quality can not be guaranteed, once a false alarm a set of door magnets lead to the labour cost will be 10 times more than the product, not to mention the other trouble. Therefore, from the point of view of cost and efficiency to consider the quality in the first place, and then consider the cost-effective is the wisest choice.

Wuzhoulong door magnetic switch has 13 years of experience in the production of door magnets, products through the CCC, environmental protection, CE, FCC certification, 8 years of experience for domestic and foreign well-known brands OEM experience, more than 40 million sets of door magnetic switches sold overseas and domestic, but no single return due to quality problems (selection of Japan, the United States of America first-class reed switch). The monthly mass production of more than 300,000 sets makes Wuzhoulong magnetic switches very cost-effective. According to the materials of doors and windows, installation methods, host alarm methods, special purposes and other options, Wuzhou Electronics has developed a wide range of products for a variety of environments to choose from.

Door and Window Material Selection

Wooden doors and windows use Wuzhou wooden door magnets, such as: 5C-31, 5C-32, 5C-37, 5C-44 and so on.

Aluminium windows use Wuzhou window magnets, such as: 5C-33, 5C-34, 5C-38, 5C-39 and so on.

Metal door magnets for metal doors, such as: 5C-36, 5C-52, 5C-56, 5C-58, etc.; and

Shop, garage roller shutter door use Wuzhou roller shutter door magnet, such as: 5C-54, 5C-55, 5C-61L, 5C-62 and so on.

Access control system uses Wuzhou locks special door magnet: 5C-505W.

Installation options

Stick-on type: the shape is generally rectangular wooden door magnet, metal door magnet, window magnet;

Embedded: the shape of the group cylindrical, wooden door magnets, metal door magnets, window magnets;

Embedded: buried rolling door magnet is generally applicable to garage, shop installed rolling door, commonly used 5C-55;

Top-loading type: top-loading type is generally Southeast Asian guest garage and shop commonly used model 5C-54 rolling door magnet;

Side-mounted: side-mounted door magnets are mainly 5C-70 rolling door magnets, the factory for the pathway alarm.

Alarm mode selection

NC-Normally closed type / broken circuit alarm (national standard GB15209-2006 named as dynamic broken type)

Normally closed door magnet working principle: after the door and window are normally closed and armed, the permanent magnet and the switch are close to each other, then the switch signal is in the pass-through state; once the door and window are opened illegally, then the permanent magnet is far away from the switch, and the switch signal is disconnected to trigger the alarm. Normally closed door magnets are economical and practical, but also most of the engineering design selection. If there is no special indication, it will be defaulted to normally closed door magnet.

NO-Normally open type/passageway alarm

Normally open door magnet working principle: when the door or window is normally closed and armed, the permanent magnet is close to the switch and the switch signal is disconnected: once the door or window is opened illegally, the magnet is far away from the switch, and the switch signal restores the pass-through state to trigger the alarm.

NC&NO-Normally open/normally closed/conversion type

Normally open and normally closed door magnet features: three signal lines (or terminals), one for the common line COM, one for the normally open line NO, one for the normally closed line NC, according to the host need to choose the alarm signal output mode of the door magnet. The normally open and normally closed type door magnet adopts the conversion type reed switch.

Special Purpose Selection

For anti-interference requirements, select: 5C-59ATM anti-interference door magnet;

For low temperature of 20 degree Celsius, choose: 5C-58LT low temperature door magnet;

Need to be used in hotel wardrobe and door light, choose: 5C-48F, 5C-36F strong electric door magnet.

Need to indicate the working status of the door magnet, choose 5C-59D with indicator door magnet

Need outdoor telecom cabinet door control, choose: 5C-52B patent door magnet (Huawei telecom cabinet with 5C-44B enhanced)

Need lift door up and down control, choose: 5C-70B lift door magnet

Need anti-tamper foot anti-tamper function, choose: 5C-150 anti-tamper door magnet, also called anti-tamper switch.

Door magnet electrical parameters selection:

Wired normally closed alarm host to choose normally closed

Applications for Magnetic Door Switches: Securing Your Home

Applications for Door Magnetic Switches: Securing Your Home Home security is very important to everyone. We all want to feel safe and secure in our homes. A magnetic door switch is a very effective device that can help us achieve this. In this article, we will look at the application of door magnetic switches and how it can keep your home safe. A door magnetic switch is an on/off device that is installed on doors and windows. It consists of two parts: one mounted on the door frame and the other on the door. When the door is closed, the two parts come together and trigger the switch, sending out a signal. When the door is opened, the two parts separate and the switch breaks the signal. This signal can be connected to your home's security system, such as an alarm system or surveillance system, to sound an alarm in the event of an unauthorised entry. Door magnetic switches have a wide range of applications. It can be used in homes, commercial premises, or anywhere security is required. In homes, door magnetic switches can be used on front doors, back doors, windows, etc. to help you monitor the security of your home in real time. When someone tries to enter illegally, the door magnetic switch will immediately trigger an alarm to scare away potential intruders and notify you or security personnel. In addition to securing your home, door magnetic switches can also be used in other scenarios. For example, access to shops or offices

Magnetic switches: what they are and how they work

Magnetic switches: what they are and how they work Have you ever thought that many devices in our daily life use magnetic switches? For example, our refrigerators, washing machines, televisions and so on. So, what is a magnetic switch? How does it work? Let's find out together. A magnetic switch, also known as a door magnetic switch, is a device that uses magnetic materials and electrical principles to achieve the switching function. It usually consists of a magnet made of magnetic material and an electromagnet wound with a coil. When the magnetic switch is in the closed state, attraction occurs between the magnet and the electromagnet, causing the circuit to close and current to flow; while when the magnetic switch is in the open state, the magnetic force between the magnet and the electromagnet disappears, the circuit breaks, and current stops flowing. So how does a magnetic switch work? Let's explain it through a concrete example. Suppose you have a door magnetic switch installed in your room. When you open the door, the magnetic switch senses the state of the door and transmits the signal to the relevant equipment, such as light or air conditioner. When you close the door, the magnetic switch also senses it and passes the signal to the devices, causing them to stop working. In this way, we can achieve intelligent control through magnetic switches. The working principle of door magnetic switch
